Emancipating Kashmir from Fiascos - Heralding a Homecoming of Oneness & Progression

FROM THE EYE OF A PERCEPTIVE KASHMIRI - PERCEPTION CREATES OR CRUSHES ALL. 

Sixty-five days after resuming a second-term at the helm, riding atop a landslide electoral triumph, the incumbent Modi regime in a momentous move, emanating from the visionary iron-will policy abrogates Article 370 drafted under Part XXI of the Indian Constitution, providing unwarranted special status to Jammu & Kashmir via Temporary, Transitional, and Special Provisions.

During this penning, the central government introduced the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Rajya Sabha, seeking to mutate the State into a Union Territory, along with a resolution for revocation of the contentious Article 370, ensuing into the Article 35A nullification, becoming an aberrational epitome, defying the fundamental prerequisites of equality on which democratic egalitarianism gets established. 

Amid expected opposition pandemonium, Home Minister Amit Shah, furthering his persona of a resolute nationalist announced the bifurcation of the erstwhile princely region into two UT's - first being Jammu & Kashmir with a legislature, whereas the perennially snubbed Ladakh, the other, without own legislature powers, thereby heeding the long-standing Ladakh Autonomous Hill Council (LAHDC) legitimate demand of separation from its former State citing cultural & ethnic differences. 

Hence, by exercising powers latent within Clause 1 (D) of Article 370 read with 367, the fourteenth President Ram Nath Kovind's Constitutional notification not merely rescinds the May 1954 Presidential order that implemented the 1952 Delhi Agreement, endowing the J&K Legislature extensive authority in defining permanent residents, consequently granting them exclusive privileges, but partially validates the damage caused to the notion of Greater Kashmir, and indeed, delicate national integration concept.

Appallingly, until now, the scrapped Article 370 forbid with an exception to matters concerning defence, foreign affairs, communication, & other apt issues inscribed in the Jammu & Kashmir Accession Instrument, the parliament acting Sou Moto, in the absence of ratification from the State's Constituent Assembly for law formulation, beforehand. Resultingly, the residents habituated under a separate set of laws ownership of property or land, citizenship, and fundamental rights.

Doubtlessly, this segregation became the invisible demarcation, a divide, creating unnecessary impediments on the pathway of wholesome progression for the State, especially the valley, fostering unemployment, extreme penury, social disparities, regressive perception, and economic backwardness, whereby accentuating an unfounded sense of alienation among the residents from the rest of the nation, efficaciously exploited by our nefarious western neighbour triggering the darkest era commencing from the 1990, which translates into a genocidal ethnic cleansing of mild-mannered Kashmiri Pandits, eventually leading to a nightmarish exodus unseen in Kashmir's septuagenarian past.

However, Pakistan's sinister plans didn't just end there as it connivingly grabbed the occasion for unleashing a comprehensive modus operandi of asymmetrical warfare in tandem with generating public incitement via religious zealotry, Wahabi extremism, & jingoistic jihadism in the garb of militancy, thrust upon the greatest civilisation on the blue planet.

Right from the onset, apart from the appointment of a headstrong Amit Shah as the Minister of Home Affairs, the anointment of Ex-National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to the rank of a Cabinet berth signalled the unwavering clarity in the sensitive internal security domain. Behind intricacies of this country amalgamating measure, the Ex-Director Intelligence Bureau the percipient astuteness springs to the fore.

Brainchild coup de maître of the Modi-Shah-Doval trio, this single dictum shall be the genesis for ushering a much-required transformation on the security & ethnic paradigm inside the Kashmir Valley in entirety, through a recalibration of its lop-sided demography, which wicked Pakistan usurped to kindle an unending armed militancy, now tottering on its last legs, quite literally.  

Unquestionably, this pivotal step ends weeks of speculation about the enormous security force built-up inside the Valley and other insurgency-afflicted regions such as various South Kashmir districts.  However, seeds of the paradigm shift in approach towards the palpable in-house threat got laid two years ago in July 2018, when the terror combating National Investigation Agency (NIA) unearthed the Hawala money trail from Pakistan, conducting extensive raids at 12 places in Srinagar, Baramulla, & Handwara against the traitorous Hurriyat leaders, including other separatists.

Subsequently, a few days later, the NIA arrested seven persons in connection with the terror funding case and rebellious activities. Conspicuously, everything manifested in the collusion with the senior officials of the revered financial institution - Jammu & Kashmir Bank.

Soon, the complete complot weaved by handful conspirators in cahoots with their across the border Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) handlers, emerged. Furthermore, by liberating itself from the defunct folly-filled Nehruvian-era polity, India as a nation has embarked on an emancipatory voyage of self-discovery and national oneness for re-establishing a dominion of influence, which will remain unbreachable by any complot - internal or external.

Never in the 10,000-year past, has the Indus valley civilisation spectated an ascendancy to the dominion pinnacle of a troika having a precise attribute amalgamation - penetrative perspicaciousness, prescient foresight, self-abnegation, & staunch patriotism - a reality even the detractors in constant denial disregard.

Perhaps, the ignorance emanates from trauma induced by their professional ruination.  With a record-creating 26 bills passed in the ongoing parliament session, a decisive, and yet, self-abnegating leadership exhibits superlative floor management faculties, producing multiple masterstrokes in rapid succession, harmoniously synchronised with the holy month of Savan, leaving the slumbering opposition dumbfounded to its core.

Noteworthy is the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (Amendment), the landmark Triple Talakh bill, & the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, to cite a few path-breaking legislations. After all, an earnestness of endeavours drenched in public-spiritedness invariably garners support from sworn foes. Deservedly, this unity forms the essence of any vibrant democracy on the threshold of a progressive leap in time.

In hindsight, an unprejudiced contemplation unfurls isolation, seclusion, deprivation, and privation tales as side-effects of Article 370, which got formulated merely to expedite a filling the coffers of two self-proclaimed public-representative families. In the echelon's of power, when the heir apparent acquire the patrimonial legacy effortlessly, without evaluating the progeny's profundity or awareness levels, a vicious cyclic loop of rotational appointment to authority gets set in motion.

Sadly, for the valley, their unquenchable avariciousness (greed) derived its life-force by draining every iota of livelihood avenues that might've sprouted, if global corporate honchos had a land procurement opportunity for stimulating at least some industrial revolution, in India's pristine crown State, reeling under abject penuriousness.  Notably, the progeny (children) of these anti-national brigades either pursue higher education in fabled educational campuses on foreign soil or land lucrative departmental posts operating within the ambit of the same government whom their parents endlessly blaspheme with each inward breath.       

USHERING TRANSFORMATIONAL WINDS – FUTURE BLUEPRINT

Despite its nightmarishly regressive past, a new dawn of metamorphosis has begun to lay foundations in the Valley, with breathtaking developmental projects on the anvil, entailing the highly-touted Srinagar Metro - a numero uno proposal spanning 25-kilometre stretch in two corridors, with the first extending from Indira Nagar to HMT Junction, while the latter connecting Hazuribad & Osmanabad. A budget allocation of 50 billion has got assigned for the same.

Besides, the recruitment of degree-holders in diverse avenues of civil engineering, signal electronics, architecture, & landscaping experts for the Srinagar Metro Corporation is underway with fervour. 

Incidentally, the Government drafts in RITES, formerly Rail India Technical and Economic Service, an engineering consultancy firm to conduct a detailed traffic analysis for the flagship project, initially employing 1300 personnel.    

ENTREPRENEURIAL PATHWAYS - KASHMIR INVESTOR SUMMIT

Displaying fervent perseverance, providing the vital impetus, the Modi Administration plans to organise an inceptive Kashmir Investor Summit in September-October, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which focuses on exploring untapped opportunities within tourism, healthcare, hospitality, and the pivotal manufacturing sectors inside the pristine land.  

PATH-BREAKING EDUCATION REFORMS

Additionally, an endowment of one IIT and IIM each - a harbinger for revolutionary emancipation from the putrefying learning sector entrapped in the insidiously self-devouring ideological shackles, the educational reformation process remains unstoppable, whereby rekindling the erudition liberalisation till posterity.

Revocation of the Indian Penal Code Section 144 from the State signals a return to normalisation. As a precautionary move, a clamp-down on the pawns of Pakistan, be it explicit the sedition-eulogising separatist leaders or those enrobing the mainstream political garb got enforced for a tribulation-free transitional re-integration of Jammu and Kashmir for perpetuity. Even as, Jammu reverberates back to life on Saturday, Kashmir too shall tread towards normalcy, post the 73rd Independence Day celebrations, a first for the summer capital city of Srinagar.

Eventually, every relation ought to evolve and grow in a wholesome manner. Frivolous formalities interpolated without a semblance of unification creates unwarranted discordant strife, ensuingly getting exploited by evil-minded. Through the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Bill, the brazen Nehruvian era follies remain eradicated, thereby ensuring the integration of the pristine Valley with the Indian mainland for posterity. Only an exhibition of phenomenal political intent can erase time-tested blunders. To any ethical democracy, constitutional parity is the crux, necessary for its continuance in actuality. 

Nothing transcends this bottom-line fact of functional federalism. After all, newer history erases the memories of its older counterpart.
